How early can we book a room?

Reservations can usually be made up to 3 months in advance via the Internet or phone. Phone calls are available between 10:00 – 17:00 JST(Japan Standard Time).

Do you charge cancellation fee?

Please note that if you wish to cancell the reservation, cancellation fees will be charged as follows.

General booking (14 people or less)
No show: 100% / Same day: 80% / 3 days before: 70% / 7 days before: 50% / 15 days before: 20%
Group booking (15~49 people)
No show: 100% / Same day: 80% / 3 days before: 70% / 7 days before: 50% / 15 days before: 20%
Group booking (50 people or more)
No show: 100% / Same day: 100% / 3 days before: 80% / 7 days before: 60% / 15 days before: 30%

What should I do to send some luggage beforehand?

Do you offer any alternative meals?

for guests with allergies or restrictions due to health or religious reason please contact us for any inquiry regarding food and other food-related matters.

Can we bring our own outdoor gears?

Yes, you can.
However, please refrain from bringing equipment that requires pegs or direct flame on the floor.

Do you accept same-day reservations?

You can make reservations online until 22:00 JST the day before your stay.

Do you still operate on heavy rainy days or during typhoon season?

Our facility will be operational under any weather condition, even in the event of heavy rain and typhoon.
Please pack the appropriate gears depending on the weather condition of your stay.

Do you still charge cancellation fee?
If the weather condition is to harsh for your visit, we recommend you to reschedule since it does not cost any cancellation fees.

1. Rescheduling is only acceptable once.
2. When cancelling your booking, after rescheduling during the time that cancellation fee applies, whichever the higher cancellation fee will be applied.

How many rooms can we book on 1 reservation?

You can book up to 4 rooms.
If you wish to book more that 5 rooms, it will be booked as a group reservation.
For group reservation, please call our facility directly.

Can we checkin after midnight?

Yes, you can.
However, HONKAN will be locked after 23:30, so please let us know your arrival time in advance.
